In accordance with Section 30(1)(b1) of the Registered Clubs Act 1976 (NSW) and Rule 27.1 (b) of the Club’s Constitution, the Board of Directors wishes to notify all members of a recent Board appointment.

At the Board meeting held on 26th August 2026 the directors approved the appointment of Mrs Robyn Sharpe to the Board of Directors, effective from 11th September 2026.

This appointment has been made to bring additional skills and experience to the governance of your Club. Robyn brings valuable experience in leadership, governance, human resources, policy development and risk management, having held senior roles across Federal and State Government. With formal qualifications in Cyber Security and Behaviour and Public Sector Management, the Robyn offers a broad range of skills relevant to effective Board oversight and strategic decision-making.

Robyn’s experience in organisational governance, workforce management and significant projects would contribute to the Board’s collective expertise, particularly in areas of risk, compliance, organisational sustainability and responsible governance.

Under the Registered Clubs Act, this appointment is for a term of 6 months.
